"Uh??" blinking at him, the girl then scowled. "Those...those stupid guards at league. I just wanted to check out the stadium, and they just tossed me out; saying I need eight badges." Pouting, she stomped her foot on the ground. "They didn't have to just toss out a lady!!"

...oh, well; guess that's what's gonna happen if I get close to the league without the badges. "...well, getting the badges shouldn't be a problem if your Pokémon are strong enough." he shrugged.

Scoffing, she snottily turned away. "I don't need badges. I'm part of the Pokemon Tech, a Pokemon academy that teaches you all you need to know about Pokemon." Proudly lifting her chin, "Once you graduate, you can enter the league WITHOUT any badges."

"...and how do you expect to beat the league without Pokémon that are gonna obey you?" Blue inquired with a raised eyebrow; having a grandfather who knew how the badges worked proved to be most helpful.

"Oh come now." Still looking smug, she twirled her finger around. "There are other ways to command obedience. It's called caring. You must so be a rookie."
