At that point, the youth got to the house where Yellow and Misty were, him quickly noticing Chu. "See, there she is."



Hiding behind the youth, Sparky sighed. "...pika..."

@uncle@ "Why hello there, kid." the fisherman greeted while petting his niece. "Millie, you didn't go to Viridian or Pewter, did you? I hear some dangerous stuff happened at both sides."

"Um, just a little visit, Uncle. I, uh..."


"Just saved me from some bugs!" Misty exclaimed, seeing the girl was in a little trouble, "Yeah, I was screaming because some bugs were chasing me and I wanted to reward her by getting her some snacks in town and then we came back here."'


"Pi?" She looked behind her to see that Pikachu again with the boy. "<Oh, hi again.>"

Steven stepped toward the girls and the fishermen. "That's them, right?" He looked over at Ash. "Hm? Ash?"

@uncle@ "Oh yeah. Them Beedrills are pretty nasty." he chuckled, as he checked his fishing rod.

"It was a Caterpie," he scoffed, rather not answer Steven. He didn't wanna get near that girl. If it was only Yellow, he be fine with 'him'.

@uncle@ "But they're least of our worries. Yellow, have you seen the condition of Route 2?"

"...you mean with all the policemen there?" the youth supposed. "Why are they there, anyway?"



Glancing at Chu, Sparky rubbed the side of his head. "<...hi...>" he murmured.

<Never seen you around here before, you from out of the forest?>"


"Yeah, I've notice them..." She also recalled how Red talked with them.


She looks back at Red ansd then pouted away.

While he scowled away from her.

@uncle@ "Some Pokemon devastated the land. And they even destroyed Pewter City's gym."

"<Yeah; I'm from somewhere else. Been with Ritchie here for a while, now...>"



"...they destroyed the gym?" Ritchie blinked, tilting his head. "Why would they do that? Did they go on a rampage?"

"Destroyed a Gym?" Steven asked, coming up to the group. He put a hand under his chin, looking away. "Hm, how strange. Perhaps there's something in the air..."

If Ash would notice, Aron had its mouth clamped around Ash's pant leg, and tugged. "Ar!" It didn't like him ignoring his master.

"Hey!!" he protested, trying to free his leg. "Cut it out!"

@uncle@ "Oh, it's you again, Steven. Lost your way again?" shaking his head. "Well, it must be. Don't know why some Pokemon would rampage like that." Shaking a finger at Yellow, "I don't want you wandering outside this village. It's too dangerous right now."

"Um, alright Uncle..." Shame, she was really hoping she can sneak out on a journey.


"Why would pokemon do that? Were they provoked?"


"<I see, so that boy your trainer huh... he reminds me of someone though... somehow...>"

@uncle@ "I'm not sure, little lady." Looking at his watch. "Little late." He walked off, waving. "Don't you dare let me catch you wandering off, Millie."

"...." Bad enough he was humiliated through his start, now there're dangerous Pokemon out there.

"<...really?>" Sparky blinked. "<...who... does he remind you of?>"



"...aaw, so we can't leave, yet?" Ritchie presumed, before he sighed. "Man... and here I was hoping I could go and catch more Pokémon before heading to Pewter..."

"Hm, indeed..." Steven was deep in thought about it. 'I seem to recall rumors about Pokemon who go berserk...but where...?' Maybe his father knew, but his cell phone didn't get good reception in the forest. Shame.
