 "A Pidgey!" Last time, he couldn't catch one because Pikachu wouldn't listen to him. Now he had his chance to do so. However...he already has its evolved form, so it kinda would be pointless. But hey, more training and EXP. "Go Butterfree!!" he cried, tossing out the poke-ball. *BAN*  "Freeee~" And the large butterfly fluttered high to meet with the Pidgey.

Seeing it his chance, "Butterfree! Us---" But something stopped him when he looked at Pidgey...seeing it hurt on the ground. He just...couldn't beat it up any more than it already is. And he was soon sealed away... Meanwhile, he picked up Rattata's Poke Ball and recalled Fearow. He can put Rattata away in the Pokemon PC later... He just walked on... |

Pokemon become stronger, basically through battling. By burning away all its EXP, they gain a level.
Another way to gain levels is by having them condemn basic exercise. However, by doing this drain half their maximum HP, but they gain EXP based on their current level, and does not waste your Chance stat. A good trainer always have their Pokemon train in exercises the trainer usually does. "Exercise, huh?" It was so obvious that he couldn't believe he didn't thought of it. But...what can he do that could... Down past some trees, he can see a tennis court surrounded by a massive wall of wire fence. Hurrying down there, Red spotted a tennis racket, and a ball lying around. "Alright!!" he laughed, rushing over to the opened gate.

While Red had those kind of morals... ...he didn't... he was going to beat up any wild Pokemon that he might or might no capture... training his Pokemon is his main task right now... |

Red called from one end of the tennis court, dribble a tennis ball while holding a racket with his other hand.  The bird wasn't quite sure if she get this game, but from what her trainer told her to do, she had to swat the ball back to him. Tossing the ball up, Red smacked it to the floor with the racket, letting it bounce over the net. After it bounced on her side, Pidgeotto gave it a good swat...HARD... "WAH!!" he quickly ducked under the fast ball... ...which bounced off the steel cage... POW!! Right on the back of his head. "Pipipipipipipipippika!!!" Pikachu cackled, wildly, rolling on the umpire's chair. Perched on the chair, Butterfree concernedly purred. <That's not funny.
