He really didn't want to tango with that Armaldo again. Grinning at Brock, "Oh yeah?! You just wait and see what they can do!!" Shrugging, "Your loss." He walked on out through the doors.

"Huh??" blinking, he spotted the tall blue-haired boy he somewhat knew in Pallet; The guy who was more of a jerk than Gary. "Oh hey...uh..." Of course he never remembered his name...just like Misty's.
Meanwhile, like he was in a spell, his hand on its own placed the poke-ball in the bowl on the trading machine. |

Shuddering, blissfully, the boy fainted to the floor.  <Maybe because he's stupid?> This was one guy he didn't want to be around, and today was no exception. "Uh...yeah, I'm gonna train...and stuff. I think the tournament is starting!" And he blasted off into the doors.
( Timeskip: Alright, this is an hour later. Everyone who's entering, your Pokemon will already be healed, so no need to worry.) Pewter Park, is where the festival was held. Just the usual festival, with many stands that sold snacks, or held games, or even sovereign gifts. But Red was mostly interested in the tournament, held in the Pokemon battle arenas. There were four battle fields, where everyone stood around in, which excited him even more. Red also stared at the bracket list shown in front of the stage; so much, he could burn a hole on the list. The gym leader, followed by a shorter version of him, his brother who looked a little timid, walked onto the stage. Brock grabbed the mic stand before clear his throat. "Hello everyone. Again, I welcome you to the Pewter Festival, which celebrates the anniversary of the birth of Pewter City. Now many of you may had heard what happened to this town that caused some damages, but rest assured, such a thing will not whiter this town's spirit. It had been known for its rock solid will, and it will continue to be; which means the gym won't fall. This tournament is show that, and also to raise money into helping the town rebuild."
"Ahem! Now, to explain the rules. This is a tournament for only D Class Trainers. That class means beginners who just started becoming trainers. I am only a Gym Leader who faces D Class trainers, and my brother here is training to take the helm."@forrest@ With a tight and nervous smile, he sheepishly waved. "We have four fields. "And not only the usual TM, but also a case of Pokemon Vitamins, and a trophy to mark this special day for you."Putting away the badge in his pocket, "Alright! Let's begin the match! Side 1 and 2 will start with tiers 1 and 3. Side 1: Red vs Joey and Leaf vs Flint." "YES!!!" he cheered, leaping to the air. With that wide grin, he looked down at his rodent friend, "Come on, Pikachu!" He quickly leaped on his head before the boy could take off.
