 WELCOME TO DIE GOLDENROD! The largest, most advanced city in Johto. Stuffed to every corner with anything any person would ever need. A Department Store, Game Corner, The Magnet Train station, and much much MUCH more!  The girl stepped inside, and spun around. He head tilted up at the buildings while her mouth was wide open in awe. "Whooooooa...." She rarely goes to cities, and Goldenrod was as big and amazing as they get.  "Aiiiii...." The monkey, who was hanging off her shoulder, looked around with the exact same expression. "Man, this is....AWESOME!" She jumped. "I love this place already~" |

"Dunno. We'll just have to look around for them..." She did so, and spotted a Pokemon Center. "Hm, good timing." She went inside. After handing her Pokemon to Joy, she leaned back on the counter, looking through her Pokedex. 'Hmm, better organize my team, and I need more Pokemon...' She's had a bit of time to think on the Unown's vision now, and has just about decided what to do. "Hm, Rui. Your Plusle's pretty impressive." She smiled. On a wall next to the entrance...  Was a rather large poster. |

"Heh, that's good...hm?" She saw the poster and came up. "Whoa, this is the arena you were talking about, right?" She read the description of it aloud. "The Pokeathlon. A brand new experience between trainers and their Pokemon. Opening today north of Goldenrod, right next to the national park." |

She grinned at that. "Sounds like fun, Rui!" She looked through her team via Pokedex. "Hmm, my team seems decently balanced for it, just a bit of touch ups..."  She added Sudowoodo to her main team. "Although, this thing will be hard to control. Level 20 and all...." |

"Hmm, with a little time and love, he'll come around." She smiled. "Chikorita's coming along, Ledyba needs a lot of training, and Aipom's reliable..for an oddball." She thought. "Hm, I could use a new Pokemon though, someone cute..." Behind the girls, a little blue ball rose from behind a seat. "And strong..." The ball wiggled a bit before walking out into view. "Maybe a water type..."  "Maaaa." It yawned, streaching a bit. "...?" She looked over at it. As he stared back. "....?" |

"A Marill?" She took out her Pokedex...  MarillSpecies: Aqua Mouse Type: Water Abilities: Thick Fat, Huge Power or Sap Sipper Marill, the Aqua Mouse Pokemon. The end of its tail serves as a buoy that keeps it from drowning, even in a vicious current. "...?" She grinned and nodded. "It sure is cute, and it's a Water Type too! Lucky me!" She took out a Pokeball. "And now..." "Ah, Marill!" Called out a young man, as he ran up, picking her up. "Maaa!" She grinned and hugged at the trainer. "Awww, she's taken?!" Her dreams and plans, dashed. |

"Hm?" He looked over. "Oh, are you interested in Marill?" "Yeah, bet ya don't wanna trade for it?" "Sorry. I worked pretty hard to get her, and Ive grown pretty attatched to her..." " She hugged onto her trainer, not wanting to leave his side. "It's ok, I understand." She nodded. "Hmm, but I can tell you really like Marills. I could tell you where I got her." "Really?!" She grinned. He nodded. "Of course!" |

He nodded. "I was fishing around route 35 up north, when I caught her. They're a bit rare, but with a little patiance you can find one." With a smile, she nodded. "I think I will, thanks!" She looked at Rui. "It's on the way to the Pokeathlon too." |
