 Gritting, with tight pressure from his gums, Oak furiously tapped the desk. He had a gut suspicion that boy was no good, and still he let him have Charmander. If he wasn't that much of a nice guy, he wouldn't give that boy a license. Well, at least Charmander was in good hands, but still... "I'm going to have a talk with him, later." Glancing at the egg, his original idea was to trust it with either Ash or Gary... "Ash, I..." But...now that he thought about it, Tayten might be very disappointed that he can't get a Pokemon. Though...Oak COULD just go with him and help him catch a Pokemon...but... He seen his test scores, and personality scores. It seems the boy has just as much care for Pokemon as Ash does. Damian obviously lied on his personality tests; an amazing feat as computers prevent that. Still, maybe he could... "Ash, I wish you luck. You're doing surprising well; more than I expect."  Grinning, proudly, "Thanks professor. See you later." And he signed off. Taking a poke-dex that was left near the egg capsule, "Tayten, would come here?" |

Connecting the device with USB cord, he then typed on the computer. "I was planning on accompanying you and help you catch a Pokemon for you to start with...but I have something else in mind." Glancing at the egg, "That there is a egg containing a prehistoric Pokemon. I, and a colleague of mine in Sinnoh are studying its behavior nature when in wild, or tamed from birth, and I'm studying its tamed nature. I need a trainer to help me with my research." Pulling the cord out of the poke-dex, Samuel Oak handed the red device to Tayten. "I want you to be that trainer." |

"Yes," Bringing out a pic on the computer...  "A Cranidos. They're said to be pretty tough to tame, but with a newborn that has its eyesights on the first person it sees, that might not be the case." |

(Timeskip) Its been twenty minutes, and Damian hasn't returned his calls. There could be many reasons, but the professor were to guess that he was ignoring his calls. That was defiantly the case. But he couldn't worry about that now, for he was waiting for any reports from Pokemon HQ about the Shadow Beedrill he brought to them. If Team Rocket was messing with that stuff, then its essential that trainers should be warned about it. As for Tayten... ....he would notice the egg cracking. |

"Oh dear!" Quickly, he raced out of the lab, "Tayten, open up that-" Clash!!But alas, when the egg glowed, it formed into a large reptilian shape that ripped the capsule apart. "Too late..." he groaned, entering the living room. |
