Meanwhile, at Gary's house, he had just entered the building. "Sis, I got my Pokémon from gramps! I'll borrow one of your maps for the journey, if you don't mind!"

12 hours ago...

There were three Poke-balls lying on the table...

Each one ready to be given to a Pokemon trainer...

However...

An open window was opened even more as a figure crept into the room, carrying something...



She gently places the items down without making a sound and looked over the railings to see her prize...

Back in present time, the elder gave one hard sigh as he pulled out a poke-ball. "I have to warn you, this .... well, there's some problems with this Pokemon."

"I HAVE to have a Pokemon!"

"Well here...but I wouldn't let it out yet." he handed Red the poke-ball.

"But...what is it?"

"Just twist the knob, and you'll activate the poke-ball's transparent mode.

"Hm..." Doing so, he carefully twisted it like a lock-pad.

The red part faded a bit to show a rather miffed yellow rodent, with electricity sparking out of its red-cheeks.

"Whoa!!!" he gasped.

"It's called a Pikachu, also known as an electric mouse. It's mostly temperamental for beginners, and not-"

"It's the best of all!!" he beamed, smiling at the little rodent. Grinning, he poked the poke-ball. "Hiya, Pikachu!"

"I wouldn't-"

And he accidentally tapped the button, which popped the ball open...

...unleashing a massive blast of electricity in the air.

@daisy@ "Huh?" A brunette haired girl brought her attention away from her computer. "You say something?"

I've only got one shot at this! She thought to herself, grabbing a fishing pole with a small suction cup on it. Once I get one of the three Pokemon, it's mine!

The mystery girl threw the line to the three Poke-balls...

...which landed on the middle...



She gulped as she made sure it's secure and slowly reeled it in. She took it and turned the Poke-ball into it's transparant mode...



...to reveal a green dinosaur with a bulb on his back...



She gasped silently. A Bulbasaur! Nice catch!

Snickering, she snuck out of the window with her fishing pole and her new Pokemon...

"I said... you know, never mind." At this point, Gary had gotten what he came for, heading out again. "Just remember; don't let Ash take a map with him when he eventually leaves! Later, sis!" And he was gone.

@daisy@ "Huh??" since she was too focused on work, she didn't hear what her brother said. "Yeah, okay..." she shrugged, without a care as she went back into typing.

"AAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!" he made a wild dance as Pikachu zapped him with static shocks.

"Erck!" grabbing the ball that Red dropped, he quickly fired a beam from it...

Which grabbed Pikachu, turning it into energy itself. It then reeled back into the ball.

"Boy, I told you this Pokemon was too dangerous for you." with a sigh, "Just wait for at least three days and-"

Quickly, even though he was wobbly, he snatched the poke-ball. "D-Don't worry. I'll...I'll be great friends with...P-Pikachu..."

Groaning, he knew there was no way to talk Ash out of whatever he put his mind to. "Alright..." Handing him an item bag, plus a poke-dex. "God speed, then."

Grinning, he marched off...rattling from the static that danced around him.

@daisy@ "Oh hi....uh...Ash?" she didn't know what to make of Red...

Who, on her doorstep, looked like he wanted to fall down. "Uh...hi Daisy..." Quickly, he slapped himself, and suddenly, he was standing straight and fine. "Hi! Do you have a map I can borrow?"

@daisy@ "Why sure!" she beamed, handing him a map. "So...today's finally the day?"

"You bet!" he proudly said, yet all excited. "I'm finally a trainer, and I'll defiantly become a Pokemon Master and beat Gary!"

@daisy@ Sighing, she just knew this was another of their rivalry competitions. Ever since they were little, they competed in...well...everything. "Well please don't kill yourself over it."

"No promises!" he grinned, turning around. "Look out, Blue!! Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town, who everyone calls Red, is gonna beat ya!!"

With that, he dashed out the lawn of the house, hurrying down the road...

...and fell thanks to the static numbing him. "I'm....okay!"

@daisy@ "........god speed..." she groaned, slowly entering back the house.
