 "Because, when I was gonna start my journey, my grandpa, Professor Oak, was miffed because someone had broken into his lab and stolen a Pokémon; leaving only a Charmander and a Squirtle behind. The Charmander was handed off to a different trainer, and I got the Squirtle..." After saying that, he narrowed his eyes. "...and you happen to have an Ivysaur. Last time I checked, the only place one can get a Bulbasaur, Charmander or Squirtle without trading one is in Pallet Town. Does that place ring a bell, by any chance?" |

"I see..." She hummed. "So, basically, what you're saying is that your grandfather's Bulbasaur has been stolen... thus, everytime you see someone using a Bulbasaur or Ivysaur, they're suspects of being thieves...?" |

"So, what if the Charmander was stolen...?" She asked. "Earlier, I saw two trainers that had a Charmander each... so, either one of them could have been a Charmander thief..." She placed her hands behind her head. "In any case... this Ivysaur was a wild Pokemon before I found it. Have you heard of Totodile, Water Starter of Johto...? There was a wild one in the Pewter sewers, but I failed to find it. The point is... the Starter Pokemon can be wild too, but much more rarer... I was just lucky... and unlucky as I'm being accused of a crime I didn't commit." |

Ignoring that glare, Blue glanced back at her. "...hmph." Just as I figured. She won't bother talking straight to the one who got robbed... I'll keep her in mind the next time I talk to gramps. With that, he began crossing the bridge himself; he had business over at the cape, after all. |
