Because he was prevented to visit the outside world, while growing up, N has little clue to what it's really like, or how it truly works. He's mostly like a man-child who has a black-n-white view on the world.
Personality:
N, again, is a man-child. Because he never been to the outside world, until now, thus getting the chance to grow up, he's like a grown-up kid. But this personality doesn't shine while he's on a mission, or is angry.

As a child, he was raised together with Pokémon and was isolated from humans. Ghetsis would only let N see Pokémon that had been hurt by humans. N, clothed in special garb, is crowned by Ghetsis in the throne room of a castle. During the ceremony, as the other Sages watch, N remembers his childhood spent with his Pokémon friends. But N was now crowned king of Team Plasma. His first plan involves with the 'Yin-n-Yang' dragons, hoping acquiring them will convince the world to set their Pokemon free.
