 Ritchie blinked at that, but paid it no heed, as he focused on his clothes...
Some time later, Ritchie finally finished drying both himself and his clothes; just placing his hat on as he drew a sigh of relief. "...alright; done here..." he uttered, before he began heading out of the center. "...now... to the gym!" |

 And Nurse Joy, as usual, was busy tending to trainers' Pokemon.
Of course it's a matter of finding the gym. Though, Ritchie would see a peculiar temple up the hill, just behind the houses, across the river. |

Ritchie couldn't help but whistle at seeing the temple looming over him. With a light nod, he was quick to venture within the temple. |

The boy, without noticing Ritchie, slowly got up. But inside the gym, it would look like a karate dojo in a federal temple. Many kids in gis were inside, performing various fighting strikes at the air, or at each other.

Seeing those kids train like that within the feudal temple, Ritchie slowly entered the temple. ...is this really the Pokémon Gym of this town? Seems more like a gym for humans... |

Well, there were some kids sparring against Pokemon, of all things, like a Mankey or Machop.
@zora@ And that woman from the laundromat was there, eying the kids with cold eyes.

Immediately upon noticing her, Ritchie's eyes widened a bit. ...is... she the Gym Leader? he thought, as he slowly ventured within this temple. |

@zora@ Her mean looking eyes shot right at the approaching trainer. "Figured you would show up. Pupils, your attention!!" she ordered, getting the students to halt their training.
"Heh!" a larger boy grinned, "Another meat-head for sensei to smash?"
@zora@ Her eyes glared at the rude boy, which got him to be very submissive.

Looking around him, Ritchie grew slightly nervous, but he was quick to calm his nerves, as he gave the woman a respectful bow. "...I'm guessing that you're the Gym Leader of the town." he said. "If that's the case, I'd like to challenge you for a badge, ma'am." |
