'I know we have this covered, but more back up on the sidelines wouldn't hurt.' "You two stay on standby, ok?" The eagle just flew up to the highest point it could and looked out, very boldly. His eyes getting intense, and glinting a bit. Almost like he was waiting for the right prey. Rufflet Lv. 7 Power: 10 Speed: 11 Defense: 10 Sp Power: 5 Sp Defense: 6 HP: 17 EXP: 9/21 As for Pansear...well, he just fell asleep on the side. "Zzzz...." Pansear Lv. 10 Power: 10 Speed: 8 Defense: 7 Sp Power: 10 Sp Defense: 6 HP: 17 "...uuh, good job there." *Facepaw*  "Whoa!" She looked amazed. "That Sandshrew's amazing!" But she knew he was in the same boat. Sandshrew's a ground type, he'll get wiped out by the water type...or will it?  Either way, the large dog was too tired to keep fighting. "Arcanine! Come here!" [dice=16][dice=16][dice=16] [dice=10]  "RA!!!" Though the Patrat and Purrloin flew over the purple rodent, it left Rattata open and still enough for Pidove to blast it off its feet. HP= 4/18 Glaring hard, Rattata charged at the Unova rat, again. [dice=17] [dice=17][dice=17] [dice=13][dice=13]  Poor Sewaddle and Axew. Not only did the webbing missed it, but the snake endured dragon's last Dragon Rage, for it harmlessly slammed onto it. However, it failed to maneuver from the bolt that zapped it on top it, paralyzing it in the process. HP= 19/25 Hissing, dangerously, it lashed right for Emolga to wrap around it. [dice=13] [dice=4] (Paralysis effect: Attack negated!!) "E-Ekans!!" the snake growled, feeling its body stiffening in an instant, thus halting its attack.  Snarling, she couldn't believe such a low-rank Pokemon was able to knock down the likes of Machoke. Then again, that was Butch's, so that explains its failure. "Train it better!!!" she roared.  "Hey, I just stole it." he countered in a whine. "Whatever!!" glaring at the Sandshrew's trainer, "You're about to see why water Pokemon wash away rats like your little pet. Tentacruel, Bubblebeam!!!"  Glaring down at the little shrew, it launched a massive blast of water right at it. Thanks to the rain, it also powered it, greatly. [dice=62] [dice=10] (Speed reduce: Failed) [dice=51] BOOOM!!!  Though the water slammed right on it, the calm Sandshrew hardly even flinched. "HUH?!?!?"  Seeing as how dangerous this Sandshrew could be, Sneasel leaped off the drill machine to head back to battle.  Grinning wide, "Bulldoze, Sandshrew!!!" Suddenly, its body came to life before it charged right for the two Pokemon. As it did, its body sunk into the earth so, it plowed through it as easily as it was snow. (Sneasel) [dice=58] (Tentacruel) [dice=58] [dice=32] [dice=19] The moment it was about attack, it was knocked aside, and nearly buried in dirt. HP= 24/35 (-25% Speed. Speed: 24) [dice=48] [dice=38] "RAAAAAWG!!!" Despite its large body, the small shrew knocked it over as if it was as light as a plush doll. It's Super-Effective!!!
HP= KO!! "....................." Her jaw pretty much dented the shell of the drill machine, she stood on.

But Axew's and Rufflet's assaults hit dead on, knocked the snake right onto a building wall.  "The hell with this!!" the grunt cried, recalling the Ekans back into its poke-ball. [dice=16][dice=16] [dice=10] The purple rat leaped over Purrloin's claws, but Patrat just flew at it and rammed it at mid-air. The poor rodent slammed to the ground, out-cold. HP= KO!! [dice=19] Despite its best efforts to enduring the attack, Luxio still sent the ice weasel flying while unleashing a burst of electricity on the impact. HP= 17/35 The moment it was about to strike back...  The ground exploded, under the Sneasel, thanks to the chubby mole blasting out of the ground. [dice=16] [dice=19] And sending the weasel flying high. HP= 16/35  "Yeah!!" she cheered, seeing her prized Pokemon beat down even the high levels.  "Yeah! Team Plasma rules!!" "Dammit, how come you're not sending out your Woobat?!" Pointing at Black, "That chump took it down." "....so not a surprise..." "Shuddup!!" Crossing his arms in a muscled fashion, "What you gonna do now without any drugged Pokemon?" "You think it's over?!?" she sneered... as her unconscious Tentacruel's aura blazed like a black bon-fire. Which stunned the large boy. "...In tarnations...?!" he cried, seeing the Tentacruel standing back up. Not only that, the dark flames kept blazing off its body so much, it was like the Tentacruel was a shadow of black fire. Yes, Green would know that it is in Hyper Mode. "We patched this one with a berry, Shadow Berry. Not only it revives Shadow Pokemon at full health, but it instantly sets them in Hyper Mode." Scowling, AJ punched his palm. "Y'all think things will be different? HA! Sandshrew, use Bulldoze!!" (Sneasel) [dice=58] (Tentacruel) [dice=58] [dice=3] (Endure) [dice=19] The attack surely plowed the black weasel away, and smashed onto the ground. However, before that happened, it was coated in an orange glow to help keep it alive. HP= 1/35 S [dice=67] D [dice=53] But this time, when Sandshrew slammed onto the giant squid, it stood sturdy as a steel wall. Frowning, the squid unleashed a massive bubble blast right down at the little shrew. [dice=84] [dice=10] (Effect failed) [dice=51] "SAAAAA!!!" The bubbles exploded with a great watery burst, hammering the Sandshrew hard, and printing a deep crater under it. HP= KO!! "SANDSHREW!!!"

"Shadow Berry!?" She gasped. 'They can revive that thing with just one little berry?!' The Arcanine slowly lifted his head, growling weakly. "...." "Arcanine's badly hurt, we're done..." She started to sweat. "Oh man, the Sandshrew was taken out like that?!" He looked speechless, staggered...and almost afraid. He looked stunned too, and worried for his master. "Ooosh..." It shook too. The bird saw the Tentacruel and almost swooped down to it... But was stopped by the fire monkey. "?" The monkey suddenly had a serious look on his face, he sensed that the squid's power was far beyond theirs. He was right to stop the eagle.   Meanwhile, the two hid behind a wall with Munna, treating it's wounds. The young girl poked her head out. 'How can we stop that...?' |

Shadow Tentacruel Lv. 24 Power: 47 +19= 66 Speed: 48 + 19 = 67 Defense: 38 + 15 = 53 Sp Power: 37 + 15 = 52 Sp Defense: 48 + 19 = 67 HP: 70 And he just stood there, staring at Sandshrew's unconscious body in shock. His first loss. His first loss with Sandshrew....and he was so close to hitting a 100 wins with no loses. So close... Sluggishly with her hand under her chin, like a evil rich person, she cackled. "Ahahahaha!! You're finished!! You may had almost gotten us with that dry rat, but as I said, I put it in its place! Now, Daddy's-little-girl, you're coming with u-" And suddenly, a massive beam of light shined.
I know, ironically, this is a Digimon theme, but I thought it be cool for Black.BGM: Tagiru Chikara FULL (Digimon Xros Wars) "PI?!" Pikachu left his trainer to search for that Shadow sensation he felt. But something else caught his senses that made him stop. Something... The two managed to catch up when Pikachu stopped, all puzzled why he paused. "Pikachu, what's wrong?"
A great light shined, indeed...coming from Rufflet. Light Rufflet Lv. 8 Power: 12 + 19 = 31 Speed: 12 + 19 = 31 Defense: 11 + 15 = 26 Sp Power: 7 + 15 = 22 Sp Defense: 6 + 19 = 25 HP: 17

"!?" The bird rose up in the air, and looked all around him as the aura grew. The aura expanded into a large bird that looked a bit like a phoenix. He made a mighty caw, perhaps to intimidate the foe? Or perhaps to reassure his allies. Light Rufflet Lv. 8 Power: 31 Speed: 31 Defense: 26 Sp Power: 22 Sp Defense: 25 HP: 17 "Whoa...Rufflet?" He looked stunned, and a growing hope inside of him. All of the sudden, all the fear was gone, and was replaced by a wide smile. "That's amazing!" The two looked up too...Oshawott not looking too happy that his rival got such a power up. And the girls looked up, rather surprised. "It's like Ash's Pikachu..." She whispered to herself. 'Is this similar to Latios and Latias' power?' She thought. "My oh my...I've never seen anything like this before!" Looking toward the shadow Tentacruel, the bird and the phoenix after image swooped down at it, cawing once more.
