 He sighed in relief. Thanks to his Pokedex, he knew that Toxic Spikes can't Poison Steel, Flying or Poison Pokemon... In fact, if Gold had a Poison-type of his own, the Toxic Spikes would be absorbed and everything would be fine...   ...and he only has two low-level ones in his PC... Well, seeing as he's got Pidgey out... they might as well go through it and hope for the best... if not... he'll cross that bridge when it comes to it. "Gust!!!" And he was standing on the ground, not getting poisoned... " ....when....?" He mentally confused. When did the spikes vanished? But, if the Toxic Spikes are gone... This might be his chance... @omanyte@ The seashell Pokemon ducked inside its shell, before the rodent slammed onto it. The electricity barely even phased through it. When it did, it performed the Withdraw technique, hardening the shell.

"Uh oh..." He grunted. Withdraw will increase that Pokemon's Defense... which means it's must be high, but it's Sp.Defense must be low... If I had known that, I would have sent Ralts out instead... After all, Pichu doesn't know any Sp.Attack moves... she only knows two Physical attacks... Thunderpunch and... "PI!!!" ...Volt Tackle, which she is using out of sheer annoyance at this Pokemon's cowardly move to make this battle last too long... ...which took him off guard. "Uh, Pichu!! Wait!!"
