@marina@ Looking over Misty's Pokemon, she gasped at the tadpole. "And wow, you have a Tympole! Those things are from Unova! But I got an Unova Pokemon, too!" Slapping down a poke-ball to the sand, it exploded with light...  Releasing a blue duck creature. "Duck!" "Oh wow!" he couldn't help but check it out with his poke-dex.  DucklettSpecies: Water Bird Pokemon Type: Water/Flying Stage: Basic Abilities: Keen Eye or Big Pecks Ducklett, the Water Bird Pokémon. A skilled diver, Ducklett swims underwater in search of its favorite food: peat moss. When attacked, it uses its feathers to splash water, escaping under cover of the spray. |

It is vulnerable only when its shell is open. At night, this Pokémon uses its broad tongue to burrow a hole in the seafloor sand and then sleep in it. While it is sleeping, Shellder closes its shell, but leaves its tongue hanging out.
