Yeah, he knew that Ghosts were immune to Normal attacks... so by default, he did know that the match was already lost. But his pride just refused to give up, as he just clenched his hands. "...do it again!" She could see that he was struggling to keep himself composed... but she also knew that she couldn't doubt her trainer for even a second.
