 With Brock busy with Flannary's Arcanine... she had to look at the map. "We still got a way to go... Let's see... to reach Vermillion, we need to head to Route 6... but... oh no..." According to the map... between Route 5 and 6 is... "...our next stop is... Saffron City... home to another one of those Gym Leaders who were taking AWOL like Surge... Sabrina..." She groaned. |

 One of the Bellsprout was squashed under the rock, which a yellow beam quickly drew the plant away. [dice=5] And the other took a critical hit by the little fox's attack. It surprisingly went down, allowed a yellow beam to take it away.

The other male members of the team couldn't help but gawk lightly at the new teammember...   ...while the other female ones seemed pretty impressed, if a touch concerned that she had gone out so suddenly to fight.  "...well, uh..." He knelt down and gave Zorua a small nod. "Not bad, but... don't go running off like that way too often to begin with. You're still kinda weak." She didn't seem to mind, though, as she just smiled brightly at Blue. "...well, whatever. We need to keep it up if we're having Oddish or Geodude evolve." He glanced towards the bud with a nod. "Do it again." Oddish nodded, as she closed her eyes and began producing another sweet scent that floated out around the area. She groaned. If she recalls correctly, Sabrina is the Psychic Gym Leader and sort of... psychotic... going through Saffron will be difficult for a number of reasons... Ash could simply whirl around and challenge Sabrina... or Sabrina would follow them... Should they take a different route? Looking hard... the map shows that they could go back to Cerulean... go east for Route 9, go through Route 10 with the Rock Tunnel... rest at Lavender Town... go north to Route 12... then, take Route 11 that connects to part of Route 12 and use that to reach Vermillion... ....that might take... a week or two to get there... and Ash would rather go straight to Vermillion than take the safe routes... and Misty would agree, but... Sabrina is one of the four advanced Gym Leaders... her Pokemon would crush us all... She mentally groaned. Going through two towns and four routes is safer than... hmm...?Looking at the map carefully, she noticed something listed on Route 5. "....Underground Path?" |

( New Rule: Sweet Scent now draws Hordes, only.)   Wild Pokemon Encounter!!!It was like this little pack was hurrying for dinner, for they thought they smelled food. Both male and female shot out of the hedges, landing on the path to find the source of the scent. But seeing that it came from an Oddish, with a trainer nearby, they snarled in anger. You do not tick off poisonous creatures like that, making them think there was food nearby.   3 Nidoran males, and 2 Nidoran females have arrived; lv 9
 "Uuughh...." And the squinty-eyed trainer stood up, a bit ruffed. "Who cares? Let's go!" And he, and his Pikachu, marched off; both determined to get to Vermillion.[rand=477051664398876369719489711403241059216631837604288932975013168729] |

With Ash moving quickly like this, she chased after him... hoping he'll listen to reason and use the Underground Path as a shortcut to avoid Sabrina for now... She prays... |

Zorua on the other hand, just seemed really excited about the prospect of more fighting. "Already got these, so..." With a nod, he glanced over. "Oddish, douse them with a Sleep Powder, first." Lv. 19 HP: 46 Power: 14 Speed: 18 Defense: 22 Sp Attack: 30 Sp Defense: 22 EXP: 54/54 Hearing that made her perk up... and she grinned. "Oddish!" With a happy tone, she puffed her cheeks, and her bulb burst out some pollen-like powder, floating gently over to the Nidoran to lull them into sleep.
