 Seems like they were back from where they left off, when Pikachu wouldn't obey him an iota. Well, knowing that had to work together to beat Team Rocket, Pikachu might listen to him in battle this time. He's going to have to train him hard so he can easily beat those clowns. But right now, Red was glad that he finally felt like a real trainer. So, searching for a Pokemon, he shall. [dice=100] [dice=100] [dice=4]  Inching down on a tree looked like a pink caterpillar. "Oh wow!!" he beamed, checking his pokedex.  WurmpleStage: Basic Species: Worm Pokémon Type: Bug Abilities: Shield Dust or Run Away Wurmple, the Worm Pokémon. Wurmple live primarily off of sap from trees. The suction cups on its feet keep it from slipping. It loves to eat leaves. If it is attacked by a Starly, it will defend itself with its spiked rear. "Time to catch it," he smirked. Glancing down at Pikachu. "Okay, Pikachu. This is where our real journey starts."  "Pi?" he just didn't think fighting a Wurmple would be much of a challenge. "Come on, Pikachu." he groaned, not wanting to start this over. "We gotta get you stronger, buddy. You don't want Team Rocket to snatch you, do ya?" Sighing, he trotted into the grass. <Just don't make any stupid commands, kid.> "Alright!!" excitedly pumped, he twisted his cap around. "Use Thundershock!!!" Leaping up, sparks raged from his cheeks. "CHUUUUU!!!!" And he let it fly. [dice=24] He couldn't believe that Pikachu finally listed to him. "GRYAAAAA!!!" the sparks electrocuted the bug, knocking it off the tree. "Yes!!" grabbing a poke-ball. "Pok-" And suddenly, a yellow beam shot the bug and took it. "HUH?!?" ---- LEVEL UP!!!Pikachu Lv: 8Power: 6 -> 9 (x2) Speed: 14 -> 15 Defense: 5 -> 6 Sp Attack: 11 -> 12 (x2) Sp Defense: 5 -> 6 HP: 20 -> 21 Thundershock Tail Whip Growl Thunder Wave!!!Iron Tail EXP: 22/24 Happiness: 21/100 ------- Standing where the battle took place, he panicky looked around for the worm.  "...that's what happens." Ritchie commented, as he walked up to Red. "When you knock a Pokémon out in the field, it's sent away. It gets healed up somewhere, before it's returned to its natural enviroment." After saying that, he smiled. "I read about it." |

"Wha??" blinking, for he didn't get what he meant, Red looked up his poke-dex. When a wild Pokemon get knocked out, the satellites KPWC (Kanto Pokemon Wildlife Council) teleports it to their HQ to get treated. Then they return it back to their natural environment. "Oh now you tell me," he frowned. And the rodent snickered. "Oh laugh it up." Glancing back at the boy, "Hey, what Pokemon you have, Ritchie?" |

"...well, I have Sparky..." Ritchie noted, before he took out two Poké Balls. "...and these!" Tossing them out...   ...two Pokémon emerged from them, looking up at Red. "They're Happy and Rose." Ritchie nodded, pointing at the Metapod and Taillow respectively. |

"Oh wow, you have a Metapod too?!" Glancing at the blue jay, "And who's that Pokemon?" pointing his poke-dex at it...  TaillowStage: Basic Species: Tiny Swallow Pokémon Type: Normal/Flying Abilities: Guts or Scrappy Taillow, the Tiny Swallow Pokémon. Taillow courageously stands its ground against foes, however strong they may be. This gutsy Pokémon will remain defiant even after a loss. On the other hand, it cries loudly if it becomes hungry. |

With a small nod, Rose fluttered over to Ritchie's shoulder. "She's a Pokémon from Hoenn!" Ritchie said with a smile. "I was lucky to find her here in Kanto!" Happy nodded at that, bouncing closer to Ritchie. |

"Take five, Pikachu." <Yeah, cuz roasting a weak bug was sooooo exhausting.> he scoffed, rolling his eyes. "Go!! [dice=11] [dice=10] (Poison: Failed) ---- Weedle...a level 6, was crushed to a tree by fierce winds. A yellow beam then took it away. "NUTS!!" ---- Pidgeotto - Lv: 9Power: 12 -> 13 Speed: 14 -> 17 Defense: 10 -> 11 Sp Attack: 9 -> 10 Sp Defense: 8 -> 9 HP: 25 -> 26 EXP: 27/27 Happiness: 26/100 ----- Trying to calm himself, he grinned in a goofy manner, resting his hands on his head.
