Confusion, Sleep, and vary others ailements causes mons (and even possibly humans) certain status problems. Here's what happens;
Confusion: Whenever the mon attacks, roll a 6- sided dice after the attack. If it lands on an odd number, you take damage from the attack roll you rolled, and that attack aimed at the target Pokemon is canceled. The confusion last for the amount of dice the opponent roll when he/she attack, or when the Pokémon is recalled.
Sleep: If hits, the mon rolls a 4-side dice and is asleep for the number is rolled.
Burn: Attack is reduce by half and the mon loses 2% HP every turn. Also, Power is halved.
Poison: The mon loses 2% HP every turn, and outside battles.
Freeze: They can break free if a fire attack is used on them, or they use a strong fire attack to break free. Until then, the mon cannot attack or use Speed.
Paralysis: If hit, the mon has to roll a 4-sided dice after making an attack, and if 1, the attack is canceled. They also loose 25% speed.
