Whitney is a sore loser, and is prone to crying whenever she loses. She's also pretty clumsy; careless on watching her path. She also have a lousy sense of direction, even in her hometown. She's also very sensitive about her height. She's pretty tall for her age (5'0), which gets her looks and rude talk from people, especially girls.

Whitney is a sweet but ditzy young lady. She's very girly, addicted to shopping and very cute things. Her favorite color can easily be guessed on the first try. She's quite sociable, always having something to talk about, and loves to put on a show in battles. Whitney always put up a perky attitude, and tries to get other to do the same when they're down. However, Whitney is a sore loser, and throws a temper tantrum whenever things don't go her way. She's also very sensitive about her height. She feels like a freak.

Whitney is part of a family that ran the White Farms, for generations, that are mostly known for their great dairy products. While this was mostly from her father's side, he mother runs the Goldenrod Gym, which Whitney now runs, part time. While she only started, Whitney quickly became a fierce gym leader, due to her unstoppable Miltank.
However, she truly wanted to be a Pokemon idol, for she likes putting on a show more than she does battling. She heard the best way to do that was to be a Pokemon Coordinator. However, they have yet to set up contests in Kanto and Johto, but they will in a few days. Until then Whitney travels around, looking for new Pokemon, while training them for contests.
