Personality:
At first glance, he can seem like a frail, grumpy and cold figure, who would be quick to dismiss anyone who seemed weak. However, this is far from it; he is a caring and understanding soul, who believes that Pokémon should be treated not as tools of war, but as close as actual family. He is also not as frail as he appeared to be, and would still be able to take on several younger and 'stronger' trainers.

Decades ago, Pryce was a cheerful and caring trainer, and one of the first Gym Leaders in Johto. Shortly after he became Gym Leader, however, disaster struck. He lost his two Lapras in an avalanche, and to add further insult to injury, their baby hatched mere seconds after the accident.
Crushed by this, Pryce became more distant, the memory of losing his Pokémon haunting him. Though, whenever someone come to see him, he seems to have somewhat gotten over it, either appearing cold to cocky challengers, or warming up to some who seem genuinely enthusiastic to face a veteran such as himself...
...of course, appearances can be deceiving.
