He can be rather insistent on a challenge if he feels he needs to challenge someone to a battle. He's also rather overconfident in his own abilities. He doesn't taking losing very well, but hides it as he wants to keep a serious personality.
Personality:
Between him and his friends, he holds a greater knowledge in Pokemon. With that, he usually offers advise to his friends if they need any help... although, his comments are often witty intellectual. He also misunderstands Bianca's humour often, to her dismay.
He has a cool head and usually think things through, so he can be the voice of reason. His dream is to become a Pokemon Champion, thinking he knows everything to be one... yet, that isn't true. However, during his journey, he always strives to become stronger and ponders to himself how to do so.

Born and raised in Nuvema Town, Cheren did his research on how to be a Pokemon trainer. He became knowledgeable, and became a top pupil to Professor Jupiter.
He desires to be a Pokemon Trainer, setting off with his own Pokemon and becoming a powerful Pokemon Champion in the world.
In Nuvema Town, he lived with his three close friends... Black, White and Bianca, knowing full well they want to be Pokemon trainers too. And one day, the chance to be one will soon come on Black's birthday...
And one day, Cheren will learn what it'll take to be a real Champion...
