 Gumo was traveling on the route west of Violet city. She stretched as she held on to Minun's pokeball. "Okay, time to get this started." She brought down the hand holding the pokeball to her hip, and her other hand clenched and aimed to the sky as she walked. She looked confident and proud. '5 years ago my sister went on her adventure... Now it's my turn to start.' She smiled as she thought. 'I gonna make my family proud, Fight like my sister, learn like my father, and be responsible like my mother.' She looked around for wild Pokemon to train against with her own Pokemon. |

 As she walked along the group, she sang a song, "I wanna be the very best, that no one every waaaaas... to catch them is my real test, to train them is my cauuuuse!" |

Gumo's thoughts would be interrupted by the singing of Rui. She looked back to see were it was coming from and saw two girls she was just with a while ago. Gumo raised an eyebrow, "You following me?" |

"Hm? Oh hey Gumo!" She waved. "This is the way to Goldenrod. Well, one of them. The other is a cave, and I didn't feel like going through it." |

Gumo giggle a bit. "Well, that's understandable." She looked around again to see if there was any Pokemon around. "I'm just looking around for some Pokemon... though you probably already guessed that." |

And they would come across a path between some woods, with trees too close together to get through.
There was also one massive tree on the path....a rather strange tree with green spheres on the branches.

"Dunno, maybe there aren't any at...?" She saw the tree. "...isn't this the path to Goldenrod?" She looked over, taking out a water bottle, feeling thirsty. |

"Course theres are Pokemon here, I can feel it!" She pouted. "But I don't really remember that tree being there..... Then again that could just been me." She rubbed her chin as walked a little closer to the tree to inspect it. |

As she unscrewed the cap off...  Guess who showed up to try and snag her hat. "AI!" It started climbing her shoulders, reaching for her hat. "H.hey!? Not this again! Stop!" She strugled away from the monkey, while thrusting her water bottle out at the tree. Refreshing spring water was splashed all over it! |

And the tree rattled violently, making shaking sounds.

"AHHH!" Gumo would be startled by the frantic shacking of the tree and jump back. "What happened? Is the tree possessed?" She slowly step closer to it with precaution. |
