Poke-Dex

Poke-Dex; a book-like device used as a Pokemon Encyclopedia for trainers to use. In the anime, nearly every trainer has one, as it is also their Trainer ID. In the games, and comics, not everyone has one; only the protagonists. In fact, in the comics, those who have them are consider Dex-Holders. Also, Poke-dexes start off empty; trainers have to fill it with information with the Pokemon they meet and capture.

Here, we're doing that. Not everyone has a Poke-Dex; only those that start off in a Pokemon Lab, and was personally given one by a professor. When meeting a Pokemon, it gains data, and gives you basic data of the Pokemon. Captured Pokemon gives out more than that.


Seen
- Basic data such as their height, weight, and Dex ID number
- Origin information, like their habitat, and all that.
- Areas on where they are.
- Forms


Caught
- All the information they would have in the Seen category.
- Attack list
- height and weight comparison


Also, Poke-Dexes can...
- Switch roaster Pokemon you have, without the need to use a PC in a Pokemon Center
- Trade with trainers without the need of a trade machine found in Pokemon Centers.
- Voluntarily stop evolution, as trainers without a Poke-Dex can't.
