"But isn't this thing gonna be tonight?" he asked, finished healing his Pokemon from Seymour's healing chamber. Red opened the dome to let Pikachu out. "I can't wait that long; I'm not gonna let Gary beat me." "Well we probably would be a bother. Clefaires aren't comfortable around strangers." "Oh, they'll okay with you guys. The Clefaries trust me, for I am their soul guardian." he said with pride. <It's a wonder how they're still living...> he muttered. "In this ceremony, you might get a Moon Stone." "Really?!" "Yeah, and Jigglypuffs use Moon Stones to evolve, Ash."

"It wouldn't hurt to attend, Ash." He smiled. "Part of being a trainer is experiencing Pokemon events, Gym Battles can wait." "Hmm, guess so." She still wanted to leave the cave, but Clefairy were cute. So why not?

And Red sighed in defeat. At least he'll get to see the Clefairy in action, and maybe he'll capture some Pokemon along the way. "Alright, follow me." he said to the group. "I'll even show you around the caverns." Scoffing, Pikachu leaped on Red's head. <What's to show?> He was, however, anxious to get back out there, as much as Ash. Those loser trio stole his father's Light Ball, after all.

"Got it!" She looked at Brock. "Well, if he gets creepy on us again. Mind if I hide behind you, Brock? You'd make a good shield." She joked. He walked after him, silently.

And he just shot out one excited grin. "Uh..." Trying to look cool and suave as he can. "Why I be happy to be your human shield." *facepalm* "Uhhh..." Feeling he should be curtious, even though it was for a weird guy, "Thanks for showing us around your cave, Mr. Doctor Professor Seymour, sir." "No problem." pointing around the many tunnels, "So this the living room...and over there is the kitchen...and over there is the bathroom." "....." He wondered why he called them that when neither tunnel had a sink, or couch, or anything to be those things. "Oh actually....never mind. This is just a room-room. If we need a room for something, we just go here."

"I wouldn't be surprise if he wasn't joking."
"I thought that man who lives by himself far into the forest was on the crazy side!"

"...." She kept a good distance from Seymour, not paying attention to his rantings. She was quite eager to see the Clefairy though. Meanwhile, Steven kept his eyes out for special stones. Who knows, maybe he might've missed one.

And finally, they reached the light of the tunnel, meeting the sunset touching the lands. However, it looked as if the landscape was far down. That was because they were high on the mountain. On the top, it looked like they were in a small forest, with a large crystal pond in the center. Near it was a small house. "You live there?" "Actually...sort of. That's my grandparents'."

"Hm, so you don't live in the area alone?"

"I can take care of myself." he whined like a child, crossing his arms in such a way. And the two snickered. "I suppose the Clefairy won't arrive until nightfall. May we go into your house?" "Yeah, whatever..."

"How?" he asked, entering the house the scientist let them in. The living room, looking very old fashioned, was also connected to a small kitchen, where two elderly couple sat. "Well, Seymour-dear. Who do we have here?" the grandmother cooed. "Awww, granny! Stop talking to me like thaaaat!" he whined. "I'm not a kid." "Of course you're not." she giggled, pinching his cheek.
