 "Umm..." She was still wearing her bikini, but she also wore a white jacket. Reaching into its pockets, she pulled out a crumbled piece of paper and handed it to Blue. "Here. Gotta go." Yawning, she walked out of the pool room.
Johto Battle Frontier
Tyro Tournament
Behold, Battle Frontier, where trainers come to test their skills against the best, right in Battle Tower. They can also take on different challenges in different buildings that have their own unique rules to make Pokemon Battles challenging.
But here, in Johto, they are hosting a special tournament for beginner trainers up to two badges, for all open regions to come. Prizes are rewarded for first, second, and third.
3rd place: A item of your choosing
2nd place: A item and TM of your choosing.
1st place: All of the above, plus a Pokemon (Basic/Baby) of your choosing.
The tournament will take place July 12. Those from Johto can get there from the bullet trains in Goldenrod. Kanto can take St Anne ships in Vermilion City or Cerulean Cape. From Unova, you can take ships from Nuvema Town or Castelia City.

...a tournament, hm? Blue hummed, as he recalled Pidgey. ...that sounds like an ideal plan... I guess I could hold off on getting the third badge to do this. Then, he chuckled. And it'll give me an opportunity to fill the Pokédex on Pokémon from those other regions, Johto and Unova. I should tell Gramps first, though. To the Pokémon Center!And so he ran off...
...to the Pokémon Center. Hell, he needed to heal up Wartortle, so he could just as well call the professor while he was here. "There." And he set his Poké Balls on a tray for the nurse to pick up, before walking over to one of the phones to call up his grandpa.

"Well, I wanted to ask and tell a bit." Blue hummed. "I just beat the Cerulean Gym, and... I was told about this tournament held in Johto." To emphasize, he held the flier for the tournament up. |

"Actually, trainers with two badges or lower can join. But yes, they are inviting those from Unova, since that region just been opened for the outside world. Going there would be an excellent way to fill in your Poke-Dex."

"Oh by all means." he chuckled. His eyes then blinked over his wide eyes. "Oh! I forgot to mention about your Beedrill. All Pokemon authorities are aware of the Shadow Pokemon that are lurking in nature, and warns all trainers to hand out captured Shadow Pokemon to them, so they can go to Orre for treatment. I did so with your Beedrill."

"It'll take some time, but they'll bring it back, eventually. Although, I do disagree with the reward thing they have going for this. I don't want it to encourage trainers to keep on catching Shadow Pokemon. They're too dangerous."A small lamp-like machine let static down on a dish, forming a small blue candy. "But they gave me a Rare Candy for it. You can have it."

What would happen if a Shadow Pokémon was knocked out and sent off to be rejuvenated by the guys in charge of that? Couldn't it possibly break free and cause some serious damage over there?" |
