There was a forest outside the path of Route 24, on the mountains. Not as grand as Viridian Forest, but still good enough for anyone to make a hideout.
Green would be following the man flying with a Golbat latched on his back. But there's a problem.  Wild Pokemon Encounter!!!A large flock of Pidgeys would fly across her path; hordes of them that would blanket her sights of the grunt. |

 She gritted her teeth... holding onto her Jigglypuff as she tries to resist the temptation of screaming in a high-pitch voice... ...the moment she does, she might let go and fall to her doom... They're... just Pidgey... small Pidgey... weak Pidgey... She grits her teeth... wondering if she was sane enough to do this. Back in Cerulean... she decided to return the TM containing Mimic to the owner... until she remembered how Mimic works... By giving Jigglypuff the move, she was able to Mimic Golbat's Fly... so now, Green is using Jigglypuff to fly through the air and follow the thief... Problem is... Golbat is fast, Jigglypuff isn't... And now, the Pidgey are in the way... Biting her lip, she took out a Pokeball and glanced up at her Jigglypuff...  ...with her holding her breath tightly, she made herself a huge balloon... "V-V-Vulpix!" She groaned, throwing the Pokeball on top of Jigglypuff. "F-Flamethrower them all!!!" (BAM!!!)  "Vuuuuuul..." She yawned. VulpixLV: 11 Power: 11 Defense: 13 Speed: 17 Sp Power: 18 Sp Defense: 13 HP: 27 EXP: 20/33 "Vuuuuuuuuul......" And unleashed a huge tidal wave of flames at the Pidgey... "COOOO!!!" Many of the Pidgey were blown away, in flames; almost like flaming leaves. Those that weren't in the line of fire quickly scattered off. Multiple yellow beams kept firing like a laser fight from a sci-fi movie, porting the birds away to save their lives from burning horror. But Green's act of animal abuse was all for naught, for the grunt vanished when the birds were cleared away.

"Darn... Jigglypuff... take us down..." She shuddered as if she was saying she understood... hovering downwards to the ground... After nearly a minute or two... ....she landed on the ground, holding Vulpix in her arms... ...as her Jigglypuff sighed in relief. "Jigglypuff, thanks..." She said. "And Vulpix, good job..." And after recalling both of them... She sighed as she crossed her arms. "Now I lost him... I wonder if he was controlling those Pidgey..." She glanced around, frowning. "...Team Rocket... they have connections... with him..." With a sigh, she slammed a Pokeball to the ground...  "Nido..." Her nose twitched. "OK, Nidoran... help me find a way out of here..." She said, arms crossed. "Jigglypuff is tired and I've lost that jerk, so..." |

Far in the horizon of the forest, they would see a black smoke coming out. However, those with psychic connections, like Vulpix, would feel a dark and unsettling sensation about it. A Shadowy sensation.

"What the...?" "Nido...?" Suddenly... Vulpix's Pokeball started to shake... She looked inside... ...to see Vulpix shaking in fear... "...Vulpix... is showing fear...?" Usually, Vulpix only showed sadness, boredom and confused expressions... "Nido...?" She looked at the black smoke, stepping forward a bit... 
"Cate..."" ....why haven't I pieced this together...?! It's them who is causing these poor Pokemon too..." She hissed... hatred for this group boiling up because of their connection to... him. She blinked... "Nidoran, let's go!" She said, heading towards the black smoke... "Nido!" And she followed... |

 Wild Pokemon Encounter!!!But it was still a long way to get there, and Green will have to get through some Pokemon...like this Caterpie, for instance, who used some webbing like a spider to block off the path, between some trees. "Nido...?" She titled her head a little at the Caterpie... "Caterpie..." She muttered, recalling it's evolved form, Medapod... she was going to catch one, but that crazy Jenny, annoying Steven and those insane Beedrill prevented her from doing it before she got herself killed by those Beedrill... Come to think of it... What if those Beedrill were turned into Shadow Pokemon...? She thought to herself. If so, then that explains everything...Now, she really has to get to this camp... Shut tight, the poke-ball dropped to the ground and rattled, as a red light shined from the button.  *POP* But the poke-ball popped back open, snapping the lids from its hinge. The Caterpie shot out like a bolt, forming back to its solid state. It didn't like the idea of being there, so it tried to fire off webbing right at the Jigglypuff.
