He's sort of full of himself, and has a bit of a superiority complex; believing that he's likely the only one who's worthy of being the trainer of Suicune. That can get him in trouble at times.
Personality:
Vain and arrogant, Eusine's a bit of a showoff, as he's far too excited about the prospect of researching Pokémon. He does have a good heart, but it's overshadowed by his desire to find and become Suicune's true partner; something he's dreamed of for who-knows-how long. Still, he does know when to give credit where it's due; especially when he's been bested in something.

Ever since he was a child, Eusine's grandfather, who knew very much about the folklore of Johto, told him stories about one of the Legendary Beasts, Suicune. These stories struck a cord within Eusine, who simply grew more and more fascinated with that particular beast; to the point where he desired to become its true partner. While he hasn't had any luck finding said Pokémon, he's still searching to this day.
