More often than not, his cockiness and less-than-subtle attitude leaves him ill-suited for moments where you need to be quiet, and is prone to getting himself mixed up into conflict.
Personality:
This is a guy who's the epitome of self-confident. He's the sort of person who thinks he could take on just about anything, and pull it off without any problems. He prefers to not ask questions and just act, since he thinks that things will proceed a lot faster that way. When it comes to Pokémon, his preferences lies in their speed; thinking of new ways to make them faster than before. Also, he isn't too fond of Water-type Pokémon.

Born in Viridian City, Jason was the self-proclaimed leader of his little gang of mischievous kids. They were a five-man band, with several unique personalities among them. One of them, who happened to be the mayor's daughter, he’d always end up in arguments with; mainly because she couldn’t stand his arrogant nature. Anyways, the five of them (well, some of them) loved to get into trouble, like sneaking out to climb on tall mountains, mess with dangerous Pokémon, go rollerskating around public areas, and even break a few windows in baseball. Good times were definitely had by the group. But, like many kids who can’t stand school, Jason always wanted to go out and start a Pokémon journey. However, his overprotective parents wouldn’t allow it; not until he grew up to a more ‘mature’ age.
Well, that's passed, and now, he's off on his own adventure. Time will tell if he's honestly mature enough for this...
