Zoey might be a headstrong tomboy girl, but she still loves frills, music, dancing and all that typical girly stuff which is why she loves Pokemon Coordinating. She's honest, and sticks up for her friends. Her opinion on those who battle gyms and contest is because she think those people don't take them seriously and should make up their mind.

Zoey on the other hand, rather than focus on gym battles, wanted to become a Pokemon Coordinator after watching some of the greats on TV, like Johanna. In preparation to become great, Zoey has left her region to train.
