"But we don't even have any fishing rods... besides, all we'd catch would be Pokémon, and I wouldn't wanna eat one of those..." It was at this point that Jessie rose to her feet, walked out of the cave, and stood by the waterside. "...Jessie-" "I'm getting some food right now!" And she stepped into the water; looking ready to just snatch some fish with her bare hands at this point.

"Well da food ya buy has to come from somewhere..." he scoffed, continuing cooking his fish.

As she wandered out along the sea to grab some food... ...James just watched her; curious about what she would find.

"Hm?" Just watching the ocean, outside the cave...he spotted a large boat sailing by, which looked like a ferry.

James noticed that as well. "...what's a boat doing here?" Jessie, however, was too fixated on rummaging through the waters to find food, to even notice the ferry. "For crying out loud...!"
Walking towards the cape, Blue spotted the ferry, and smirked a bit. "Just on time. Maybe I can find some other people to train my Pokémon against there?" he chuckled.

"It's a beach!" he scoffed, plucking his fish out of the stick. "Of course dhere's boats." And the cat mauled the fish.

"...well, I knew that..." James murmured. "Argh! Stop trying to run away, fish!" Jessie suddenly yelled, as she stomped her foot into the water... just as she noticed the ferry. "...hn?"

Gary would find a boardwalk, facing the ocean. He would see lots of people gathered on it, waiting for the boat to park beside the wooden bridge.

"...that's gotta be it." Chuckling, Blue approached the boardwalk.
"...it's gonna dock..." James hummed. Looking at the ferry, Jessie just stood there... ...and an idea formulated itself. "...boys." she uttered. "We're sneaking aboard that ferry."

"Huh?!" he blinked, still ripping apart the fish.
Beside the corner of the boardwalk would be a booth. "Are you heading for the Frontier, kid?" the ticket guy asked.

"You heard me! There's bound to be some food on that ferry... and possibly some Pokémon we can nab, too." "...but Jessie, we have a job to do here in Kanto." James pointed out. "We can't just go on a cruise out of nowhere; that would just make Ariana even more enraged at us." "...I'm hungry, and I'm not wasting my time with looking for fish that won't stay still." Jessie hissed. "Now let's hurry aboard!"
"Yeah, I am." Blue nodded.

"Well, it cost a 1000 for a ticket, I'm afraid."
"Well when you put it dhat way..." he grinned. Fish can get rather dull if you have to eat it, everyday...

Blue hummed. "Hey, I can afford that." And he handed that amount of money to the man.
"...but how are we gonna sneak aboard?" James inquired. "Does it matter how we do it? We just need to get on there!" "...well... we could just buy tickets..." "Oh, I'm not going to buy a ticket just to get a free meal. Besides, the ticket prices are monstrous around this season."

"Youse could buy a basket of groceries wit dhat kind of cash." he laughed, trotting beside the two.
"Thank you," he nodded, taking the money, and giving him a ticket.

Giving the man a nod, Blue waited for the ferry to dock by the boardwalk.
"A big basket." Jessie chuckled. "Filled to the brim with food, no doubt..." James sighed... and he rubbed his stomach. "...I just hope this works; I'm starving just from thinking about that basket of groceries."
