...Gary would find a large deck filled with trainers; few had their water Pokemon in the pool for them to relax. Before the pool, where Gary stood, had enough room for Pokemon battles; especially with a Pokemon field drawn on it. A couple of trainers took advantage of it and had some battles.

Like a certain mind anteater against a large vulture-like bird.

Seeing that, Blue hummed in intrigue. "...well, now."

The bird came at the psychic in a black blur, sending it flying toward its trainer's feet.

"Drowzee!" the girl cried, kneeling down to it to see no damage was fatal.

Meanwhile, the boy who trained the Fearow, cheered victorious as the crowd around excitedly did the same.

Blue just grinned at seeing that display. Pretty impressive...

"Hah ha!" The Fearow trainer laughed, standing proud yet arrogant. "Anyone wanna challenge me?"

As if that was some form of trigger, Blue approached him. "...I think I'll have a go at it." he chuckled.

"Oh is that right?" he taunted with a grin.

As the large bird returned to his side, waiting for the new foe to bring out a Pokemon.

Blue, however, took his time in selecting a Pokémon, as he used his Pokédex to see what level the Fearow was on.

"Hey!! You gonna go, or not?" the kid impatiently shouted.

"Yeah, yeah..." Gary nodded, as he took out a Poké Ball. Let's have him get some training in... And tossing out that ball...



...he unleashed his small rat, who gave Fearow a glare.

"....you're kidding, right?" he scoffed as a few of the audience laughed, as well. "Aerial Ace, Fearow!"


Aerial Ace: (Power/Flying) Ignores Speed, raises Power by two, and is unaffected by Double Team. Can only be used three times.

Like a jet, it swooped down at the rat, dragging the wind with its wings.

But the large bird shielded itself with its wings with all it had.

Gritting, the trainer could see the rodent could be a problem. "Fury Attack!!"


Now that Rattata was right in his range, the bird rapidly jabbed its beak at it.
