 Quite strange that there was another Pokemon with the same powers as Pikachu. And he thought he was the only one...that maybe he was special...  The rodent on his head thought so, and it kind of...annoyed him a little, now. He was just starting to like being unique and one of a kind. And now...  "Hm..." Now that they ventured out of the woods, and back on the road, "We haven't introduced ourselves, yet." |

 Meanwhile...the young trainer was just humming along, looking quite chipper. "Hm?" He looked over. "Oh, right. I'm Hilbert, but everyone calls me Black. Nice to meet ya!" He smiled.  He stepped up, about to introduce himself as Black's partner...  Until the eagle in question popped out of the Pokeball and made a bold salute with his wing. "RA!" "OSH!?" Which annoyed the otter to no end. He jumped at the eagle, as it flew up to perch on Black's head. "Heh, of course you know about my Rufflet. This is Oshawott, my first partner." He crossed his arms and nodded. |

 "Oh, that's a nice name." Bianca mused with a smile, as she tipped her hat lightly. "I'm Bianca... and oh! I forgot about my starter, Emolga." As she said that, she let out a Poké Ball...  ...to let Emolga free.  "And I'm Iris!" Iris said with a laugh. "I'm a Dragon-trainer!"  Axew chirped as she popped out of Iris' hair. |

Noticing how distracted Pikachu was, Ash eyed what he was staring at. "Wow, you guys have neat Pokemon." He quickly took out his Poke-Dex.  EmolgaSpecies: Sky Squirrel Pokémon Type: Electric/Flying Stage: Basic Abilities: Static Emolga, the Sky Squirrel Pokémon. Emolga lives in trees and uses its cape-like membrane to glide through the air. The energy made in its cheeks' electric pouches is stored inside its membranes and released while it is gliding.  RuffletSpecies: Eaglet Pokemon Type: Normal/Flying Stage: Basic Abilities: Keen Eye or Sheer Force They crush berries with their talons. They bravely stand up to any opponent, no matter how strong it is. They will challenge anything, even strong opponents, without fear. Their frequent fights help them become stronger.  OshawottSpecies: Sea Otter Pokemon Type: Water Stage: Basic Abilities: Torrent Oshawott, the Sea Otter Pokémon. Oshawott attacks and defends using the scalchop that can be removed from its stomach. The otter looked at Misty and smiled. "Osh!" He waved. "Heh, yeah. Oshawott's really something." He looked at Ash. "That Pikachu's your starter, isn't it?"  Still in her cheerleading outfit (for some reason), she smiled. "I'm Flannery, a Fire Gym Leader-In-Training from Hoenn. Nice to meet you."  "I'm Bianca too, from Alto Mare. "Yeah, he wasn't nice at first..." Smirking at the rodent on his head, "But we're pals now. Right, Pikachu?" ZAP!!!! And the boy suddenly looked slightly charred and dazed. "Aaaaaagh..." "Chu chu..." he snickered, not letting Ash know he gone soft. Meanwhile, Brock zipped over to the lovely cheerleader, gently taking her hands. "Flannery, again, I'm so glad nothing happened to your lovely self. I was incredibly worried that I didn't know what to do." (Nine, do not stop Brock.) |

She sighed. "Oh boy..." She looked to one side...  ...to see a Pokemon looking at her with interest... Level 10 Bidoof is eyeing Misty..."Oh, a Bidoof!" She smiled. She already got one... Yeah... she has...    ...while Staryu is strong... Misty knew she needs to raise her Milotic, Magikarp and Bidoof to be stronger... She sighed. I've got a lot of catching up to do...And there's that Poliwag she got... she needs to see how strong it is... Then, it clicked... Misty could use it against Bidoof and allow Ash or the Unova trainer to catch it... She smiled, turning to Bidoof, taking out a Pokeball. "Let's see how strong you are against my new Poliwag!!!" And she threw it. "Go!!!" The Pokeball crashed into the ground, opened up dramatically... And there... appearing on the ground was Misty's new Water-type Pokemon!! It was beautiful!! It was cute!! "Aaah, thanks, Brock. I really wish I had a better sense of direction, haha..."  If Brock would notice, there was a faint, yet powerful, growl coming from one of Flannery's Pokeballs. It was shaking... She smiled. "I hope it doesn't get confusing between us, Bianca." She turned to her. "It's nice to meet you." "Whoa...looks like you two could use some work." He crossed his arms, looking down at Ash. "Osh..." He agreed, mimicking his trainer's pose, as usual. |
