Selena was a carefree girl back in her hometown, and even though she had an eevee since she was a child, never bothered to go on a pokemon journey. Though the eevee, nicknamed Luna, rarely battled, she did live a happy life with the girl and managed to evolve into an Umbreon. By Selena's 12th birthday, she got a teasing by a priestess on how she barely would make it as a trainer. Fuming with rage and wanting to prove the girl wrong, she and Luna set out and embark on her journey.
