While she's serious about her priestess duties, she has dreams of other pursuits, among them is being a strong pokemon trainer. Because of her strain relationship with her father, she has a mistrust of most men, though she does think some boys are cute, the really good looking ones she'll try and flirt with.

Reiko is a prideful young woman who helps out at her family shrine, she is well reserved and intellegent. While she's faithful to being a miko, she sometimes dream of things from a globetrotting business woman to being a idol singer. Due to her relation with her father, she dislikes weak men though she perfers to be the Alpha in the relation. She can be silly sometimes, and really tries to hide that personality.
As a shrine maiden, she does have some powers herself, similar to psychic abilities. Although she doesn't have telekenisis or the like, its more of fortune telling and empathy with pokemon.

Reiko is the daughter of a politician in the Johto region, he had a little to do with her life and she mostly spent time with her mother. She was very close to her daughter, and gave her a Vulpix for her 6th birthday. Sadly, there came a day when Reiko's mom died, and her husband wasn't around even then.
Reiko was alone, and her father sent her to live with her grandfather in a shrine. She grew up in the miko ways where she began to develop strange esp powers. Over the course of weeks she stayed at the shrine, she never bothered to go out (despite encouragment from her grandgather) and only made friends with her Vulpix nicknamed Vesta, and two Murkrow she named Phobos and Deimos. Though that all changed when one girl keeps pestering her... Selena, a girl who became a trainer but never bothered to go out.
Despite the many arguements she had with the girl, Reiko would never admi she grew found of her. Still, it was hard having a relation with such a ditz. One day, Reiko teased Selena into going on a pokemon journey, something that surprise that she agreed to. With even her going on an adventure, Reiko figured she should she the world too.
