Quite gullible, Scott has a tendency to believe just about anyone if they claim they're being honest about things; even if they've lied to him before. He's also got a really short fuse, easy to agitate. And when it comes to girls, he has virtually no skill in handling them.

Independent and honest, Scott's the kind of person who devotes himself completely to training, both himself and his Pokémon. Pure, raw power is his primary focus, and it's these Pokémon that he favors above all else. He's a bit of a recluse, and hates being told what to do (even if he'll occasionally go along with things), but he does have a good heart... provided you don't agitate him.

Coming from a family line that's renowned for their legacy as guardians, Scott was born and raised in the Sevii Islands for a time, before his parents one day just vanished while enroute to the Hoenn region. As such, he took care of himself for a couple of years, training himself for when he'd take up the family tradition.
The next step in training for him would be to become a Pokémon Trainer, so he travels to the main region of Kanto now for the first time to get himself a Pokémon...
