Outside the window of a bus she was in, Sari Elliot watched the vast land of tall grass blur by in great speed. This tranquil country field was always great to watch, and she hoped she wouldn't be separated from this. However, as her father said... "Enjoy it while it lasts, darlin'."He aimed to be president of Pokearth, and when that happens, Sari will be somewhat separated from the outside world...at least she'll be up to her neck in bodyguards. She doesn't want that to happen; she may never see her friends again. But then again, many of them, except one, already went on their Pokemon journey. She decided to enjoy the fruits of life while it lasts, like them. But again, at least one of her friends was still with her. But he's....uh....

"How long is this gonna take? I'm itching to get things going!" Seated not too far from her was said friend; going by the name Jason. Just from looking at him, you could tell that he was fairly confident in his own abilities; though at the cost of seeming incredibly arrogant in the process... okay, scratch "seeming"; his very visage screamed of arrogance.

"We're almost there," she sighed, being one who dealt with his visage of arrogance for a long time. She can feel for anyone who would suffer from it. "Just relax."

"How can I?" he retorted. "It feels like we've been on this bus for ages!"

"...it's been two minutes." She dryly said.

A young boy walked towards a building, looking rather nervous...
...for a good reason as he'll be a trainer soon... and he'll be going through a lot of challenges...
I hope I'll be a good trainer with my Pokemon... I wonder what my starter should be... The young boy thought to himself as he approched the building...

"Too long!" Jason instantly complained. "Time's of the essence, here!"

"Since when has it been?" she grumbled. But her corner, she saw a bus stop sign approaching. The bus came to a stop near it. "We're here! Happy?"

"Of course!" And he quickly got out of his seat, and headed out of the bus.

And Sari calmly followed, stepping out of the bus. "Look Jason, Professor Oak is perhaps one of the most phenomenal researchers on the planet, maybe to even the closed regions. Don't embarrass me."

"Geez, always worrying about your reputation..." Jason sighed, as he rubbed his neck. "Relax, already. I'm sure he deals with a lot of other kids coming to meet him, so you don't need to think that he'll look down on us, or anythin'."

Her face puff a little, for she hated when Jason get her with logic, when that's her job...especially when he mixes it with calm reassurance. Get cools off her anger, when she wants to be angry at him. Sighing, she rubbed her arm as they cross the bridge over a river to get to this place. "I guess. I-I'm just..."

"Well, don't be, Sari!" With a laugh, Jason began heading up the hill to that house. "Besides, the quicker we get through this, the faster you can stop being nervous!"

"Guh...!" As usual, he just leaves her in the dust right when she's trying to let out how she felt. Pouting, she stomped up the stairs. "That's just your impatience talking!!"
The backyard of the professor's lab...well, it was like a state park. Acers of forest and mountains...he owns it. It's essential for his studies to suit each verity of Pokemons' environmental needs. Right now, he was checking on some special subjects for three new trainer to arrive.
