Really serious and hard to approach. When he finds a strong opponent, he often challenges them regardless of the situation, especially if they use Mega Evolved Pokemon. Only has one type of Pokemon, and one alone. So it's easy to target his weakness.
Personality:
Alain is a pretty serious guy, focused on his duties and the path he chose. He wants to face strong opponents who can Mega Evolve their Pokemon, beat them, and stand at the top as the best. Though under his serious expression lies a caring young man who has a deep liking toward Professor Sycamore and his Charizard. He would stake his life to protect him, even if it involves doing some underhanded work. That goes for just about anyone he likes. Even if he's a bit blunt, he's still a nice guy, curious about the secrets behind Mega Evolution.

History:
Alain was the assistant of Professor Sycamore, who was studying Mega Evolution. Over the time he spent helping the professor, he too became quite interested in Mega Evolution. To the point that when the Professor's research hit a brick wall inside of the lab, he volunteered to help by seeking out his own Mega Stone with his Charmander. Sycamore agreed if he kept in contact.
